Remember my little
shabby outdoor cabana project? It started with a long piece of white fabric I had lying around the house.

I cut it up, hung it up, and am living the cabana dream I have always hoped for.

The only purchase I made on this project was some curtain rings. I staple gunned some wire to the overhang to hold them up and then clipped the fabric on. I was really trying to use what I had and not make this an expensive project. In the long run I might want to put them on a rod but for the time being, this will do. I probably could have even just staple gunned it right into the wood! By the time I get the ladder out to actually reach these bad boys to take down to wash, I might as well just pull staples out!

The two outer curtains I tied up with leftover fabric and the middle panels are tied up with red ribbon I had lying around the house. I was going for super frugal here...
More to come as I slowly bring the indoors out to create an airy and welcoming backyard cabana...
Have any items lying around to make a frugal masterpiece?
