What I Wore This Summer

It's been awhile since I put together an outfit post.  For how I often I take pictures sometimes my self esteem needs a little break from being in front of the camera.  So here is a little round up of outfits I shared on instagram from this summer to this weekend.

Outfit for my ten year high school reunion (makes me feel like an old lady!):
-Dress: JC Penny
-Shoes: Burlington Coat Factory

My birthday gift...a new ONA camera bag.  It is so beautiful.  Real leather.  Great hardware.  My camera and I swoon.

This weekend:
-Dress: Ross
-Belt: Came off a skirt from TJ Maxx
-Necklace: Burlington Coat Factory
-White Leather Purse: c/o Novica

NOVICA is one of the leading fair trade artisan websites. They work with National Geographic to give talented artisans around the world a place to express their artistic talents and provide access to the world market. They have thousands of top fair trade corporate gifts, accessories, jewelry and home decor items on their website.

Birthday dress:
-Dress: Marshall's
-Belt: Thrifted
-Leaf earrings: Burlington Coat Factory

Scarf I picked up at Ross on my recent trip to Santa Barbara.  During my layover in San Francisco all the stylish traveling city girls had beautiful pashminas on and I was so jealous of the their style.  So I picked on up for my flight home.  I ended up having a terrible flight home so hanging out at the airport all day, my new pashmina kept me company.

Wore my new boots at the first hint of cool air (also pictured below):
-Shirt: thrifted
-Sweater: American Eagle
-Skirt: thrifted

So I was checking out Pinterest one day looking for some inspiration for a new pair of boots.  I really love Steve Madden shoes in general so it prompted me to check out their website.  I found the perfect pair and even pinned them.  They were selling on the SM website for $99 so it was a bit out of my normal boot price range.  So later that day I went into Ross and found the same exact pair for $29!  I only knew that they were the same exact ones since I saw the name of the specific boots online that morning.  Probably one of my best finds yet.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!  I am gearing up for Monday that will kick off my first 31 Days post!  Hope to see you then!

  1. Those reunion shoes are SASSY! I haven't worn my boots yet but I'm dying to get them out. Every morning that feels cool enough, it's too warm by the time I leave the house :( And ps I can't believe October starts Monday. I need to get some posts ready!!

  2. You're a pretty good bargain shopper! I get frustrated shopping at Ross and TJMaxx because they don't always have my size. I LOVE that pink dress with the brown belt though! Did you buy that skirt that it came off of just for the belt? I've done that before. ;o)
