We pulled out our February themed picture books this past week as we quickly approach some of the upcoming holidays. It is always so fun to have a slow morning or quiet afternoon to put these out for the first time and let my kids get lost in the stories. I love our little collection that we have made over the years, including a few favorites from my own childhood.
For the month of February I like to include books for Valentine's Day, Lunar New Year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day (end of January) and Black History Month.

I also just ordered National Geographic Kids Martin Luther King Jr. from my kid's Scholastic Book order. I think this will be a great more in depth book for my older kids.
