Using Bird Baths As Flower Stands In The Garden

I love using bird baths as stands holding hanging flower baskets to add seasonal color while we wait for flowers to bloom at different times. It blooms all summer long and adds height while the rest of the garden grows bigger over time.

We have three bird baths around our yard and I buy one of those hanging flower baskets every spring for each one. The hooks come right off and I just set it right into the bird bath! And because we have mild summers I have beautiful flowers from spring to the end of summer. 

I also store my kids' glitter beach balls in the garden. They look like decorative orbs but are really just clever storage!

These flowers are one of my favorite garden features that bring me so much joy every year!
