October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. While I have not experienced this loss myself, I know too many friends who have. At my MomCo group this month, I shared this prayer with our group. I thought I would share it here as well.
Sometimes in the busyness of life, we can forget to stop and take a moment to acknowledge, grieve, and pray. I hope this will provide a moment to remember sweet ones who are experiencing the grief of loss.
Lord, in honor of pregnancy and infant loss awareness month, we remember and acknowledge the precious babies you have brought to our lives that are a part of us yet we did not get the privilege of meeting on this side of Earth. Be with us in our grief. Help us live and love better because of them.
Let’s take a moment of silence to remember a sweet baby you may have lost or for a friend who has gone through this. To say a prayer for them or simply giving them the gift of a moment of acknowledgment.
