Valentine's Day Rose Kissing Ball and Other Crafts

This weekend I had some time to work on a couple of crafts that I have been waiting to do for a couple of weeks.
For my first project, you will need a lot of these:

One of these (I used a 5" which ended up being WAY bigger than I thought!):

And the infamous this:

I hot glued the roses onto the Styrofoam ball...the base really helps in the beginning.

Keep on going around...

Add some ribbon to hang it from...

And if you are like me, you will get almost done and run out of flowers! Run to the nearest Michael's...don't forget a coupon. It came out about triple the size I intended it to be...but it is beautiful...I think I will buy some smaller Styrofoam balls for a smaller version that doesn't use all my roses!
...
Helllllo gorgeous!

You may have seen these at the Dollar Tree...I altered it a bit...

I wasn't a big fan of the frame, so I took it out and added some ribbon for an inexpensive but lovely vday piece...

I finally got some chalkboard spray paint and went to town. I found this heart piece at Michael's for under a dollar and made it fantastic!

The Dollar Tree also has little wooden signs (left) that I grabbed...plus an old frame I painted white, added ribbon, and then spray painted the glass with chalkboard paint. Glass is a little trickier because the chalkboard paint scratches off easily...but for more decorative purposes it works pretty well. :)

And then this was just too cute to not show...thrift store find+ribbon=favorite!

I had fun...and more to come...I have a few little things still drying from spray paint outside...Hope you all had a great weekend!
