To Wreath or Not to Wreath

CIMG9301I had this green wreath from last year that had a few simple bows.  It was time for something different.  But please know I have never really put a wreath together before.  I usually take a pre-made wreath, meaning beautiful, embellished, and ready to hang….and THEN I add to it.  So this year I was a strong girl and did my best to put one together from scratch only with items I already had.  CIMG9294Hello!  Can you see me??? CIMG9295I really scored with these white ornaments that I had bought from Ikea after Christmas last year.  They were dirt cheap and have been in a box ALL year.  So they finally got put to use (so much for that whole, I am going to work on Christmas projects sometime within the other 11 months of the year).  I used wire instead of hot glue because that is what I had and I tend to change my mind a lot (don’t really plan these things out very well) and glue would have made for a hot mess.  There she is.  If I can do it, you can too!  Go fluff a wreath now! 1. So what you are saying is you put this together from scratch? Ok, you did an amazing job. Check wreath designer off on that list of what you are good at. :)

  2. Great job, Ashley! Okay, you've inspired me to do something a little more interesting to my wreath with the boring red bow, that I hang on my front door, year after year! I guess I need to scrounge through my supplies and see what I have on hand. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Good job, now I'm thinking my wreath is looking a little sad. Hmmm, better go fluff it.

  4. Ooo, this turned out great! I made my own wreath two years ago but yours is far better! I love how the photo has your reflection in the bell ornament-too cute! :)
