HGTV Lake Tahoe Dream Home 2014 + Delta Faucet Touch2O Faucet Giveaway!

A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity of being invited as a blogger to cover the press release day of the HGTV 2014 Dream Home in Lake Tahoe on behalf of Delta Faucets.  The other bloggers who joined me were Cathe of Just Something I Made, Heidi of Happiness is Homemade, and Jeanne of Shop Sweet Things.  We are all from the Northern California area so it was so nice to meet some incredibly talented local bloggers.

Delta Faucet hosted each of us for this event which included a stay at the Ritz-Carlton.  It was quite the treat to wake up to such a beautiful view and enjoy the many amenities the Ritz-Carlton had to offer (more about that in a later post about the fun stay Brent and I had in Tahoe!).

Our day of events started with a delicious breakfast at the hotel where we got meet the Delta Faucet team as well as get to know the other bloggers.  I am not a big breakfast person but I can never turn down an Eggs Benedict.

We then headed off to the HGTV Dream Home as the snow beautifully fell creating a true dream like scene.  We could not have had asked for a more perfect setting to capture the stunning location of Lake Tahoe.

As we headed inside we were greeted by the designers of the home that shared about their design choices for the space.  The architecture, location, and decor were all so perfectly thought out and beautiful.  The mix of colors, textures, and mediums created a modern look while still keeping a cozy cabin feel.

All the windows were probably my favorite aspect of the home.  Why fill your walls with art when you can just look outside at the beauty around you?

The first floor consisted of a large kitchen and living space that opened up into each other as well as the master bedroom.

All the faucets used in the kitchen and bathrooms were from Delta Faucet.

Here is the Delta Trinsic Single Handle Pull Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology in action.  Being able to touch a faucet with any part of my hand with sticky cooking fingers is kind of a dream come true for me.  I cannot even begin to count the amount of times I have turn the handle on my faucet with my wrist!!!  Not anymore!

The master bedroom was quite dreamy with it's own fireplace and view out back.

Inside the master bath were some more Delta Faucets including the Arzo Two Handle Widespread Lavatory Faucet and Floor Mount Tub Filler.

Upstairs included another beautifully designed bedroom with a view.

A large living space created a cozy nook for hanging out upstairs.

And of course the room would not be complete without an amazing view and balcony.

Down the hall is the kid's room...four bunk beds with their own flat screen TV and headphones!

I really appreciated that the entire house had a sense of community built in.  When I think of a cabin in Tahoe I imagine family and friends gathering for a day on the snow.  To be able to then come home to a warm, inviting place, with open yet still private rooms...this is my kind of cabin getaway.

We headed out back and trekked through the snow to give you a look into the stunning mountain surroundings.  A little patio for outdoor dining to enjoy that magnificent view!

How perfect is that snow?  I mean really.  Could not be more spectacular.

I imagine in the Spring time this space is just as lovely with that little pond out back.

We headed back inside for a few more views of the house.  Some of the press cleared out giving me a better chance at some wider views of the space.  Really, I just took a thousand pictures of everything.  It was all so inspiring...my camera just clicked away with happiness!

Us bloggers doing our thing.  These girls were so cute and so sweet.  It is not everyday you get to experience opportunities like these.  It was so fun to be able to take it all in with these ladies.

Here are all the designers of the home.  Not only talented, but super cute in their almost matching cabin outfits!

And here are a few shots I shared on Instagram but found worthy of sharing again for those who may have missed them.  Us bloggers with the designers...

A Dream Home selfie.  That is snow on my nose in case you were wondering...thank you very much.

And an obligatory blogger mirror shot on our phones.

Now here is the extra fun part...thanks to Delta Faucet, as part of this trip one lucky reader and myself get to take home their very own Delta Faucet with Touch2O Technology!  If you have not heard of these yet, you have to check out their website and videos.  It is pretty cool the technology they have come up with to make using a faucet so much easier for everyday people like you and me!

I have chosen the Cassidy Single Handel Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in Arctic Stainless.  I cannot wait to receive it and get it working in our home!  Enter below for a chance to win your own Delta Faucet Touch2O of your choice!  Good luck!

Thank you to Delta Faucet for sending me on this once in a lifetime, spectacular trip.  They covered all expenses as well as a faucet for one reader and myself.  All opinions are mine, of course.  But how could they not be fabulous?!
