Baby Boy Nursery: Baby #3

We recently transitioned our daughter into a shared room with her big brother which meant I could officially start working on our baby boy's nursery design. It pretty much remained the same as it was for our daughter but I switched out a few accessories and got a new rug to update the space. It came out very sweet and is all set for our little guy to arrive.

The biggest change to the space was the new rug. I was in LOVE with our daughter's pink and beige rug. It was outside my normal white and blue decor and so fun to have a pink space. Luckily it works well in our master bedroom so I am continuing to love it there.

I lucked out and found this blue rug at HomeGoods and it worked perfectly! I have shared before that while I love the function of the blue love seat, it is a little bigger than I thought it would be. But suddenly with the new blue accents in the room I feel like it can finely shine. I am so happy with the blue color combos together. It truly feels like this is how this room wants to be!

I found a few new toys and decoration for the room to make it special for our little boy. It included this sweet plush elephant, wooden mountain stacker, and elephant piggy bank (our older son has the same one). And I will change out the photo in the frame with a newborn family photo.

He also has a small collection of new and old stuffed animals. I got him this stuffed animal bunny from Pottery Barn Kids. Each of my kids has one of their stuffed animals from birth and it is always special for me to pick out.
