I recently made this amazing creamy cheesy alfredo bake and it was SO easy and SO delicious. I often make dinner earlier in the day and what I love about this recipe is that because of the added cheese, this pasta dish stays creamy even when not served right away. My kids all love fettuccine alfredo so they were big fans. And pre-kids I would totally mix in some chicken and broccoli for an easy one dish meal. I am thinking next time I might split it in half - one just alfredo for the kids and one with the chicken and broccoli for the adults.
We served ours with a side of sausage and roasted vegetables this time and everyone gobbled it up.
Creamy Cheesy Alfredo Bake
- 12 oz package of egg noodles (though I imagine other noodles could work too)
- 24 oz jar of alfredo sauce (I like Rao's)
- 8 oz package of shredded Italian cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or oil a 9x13 dish.
Boil noodles according to directions. Drain cooked noodles.
Assemble pasta dish by layering half of the noodles, alfredo, cheese — then repeat.
Cook for 20-30 minutes. Stir up the pasta and pop in the oven for a few more minutes.
