Moms Group Christmas Party

This last month we had our moms group Christmas party to end off our year.  We put together a hot cocoa bar, cookie decorating station, and mason jar snow globe craft.  It was a lovely morning with ladies laughing, chatting, and being creative together.

For the hot chocolate fixings I put out marshmallows, vanilla chips, chocolate chips, Andes mint chips, caramel, candy canes, and rolled wafers.

It has been on my wish list for awhile to get one of these large coffee urns (it is going to be great for next year's holiday dessert party!).  Given the opportunity to make large amounts of hot cocoa for this party, I found one on Amazon that is just beautiful.  I even set it up at home for us to enjoy when we were working outside on a cold day.

For the mason jar snow globes we filled them with snow, glitter, and little bottle brush trees.  They could either sit on the lid or punch holes in the lid to hang.

I also set up a little photo booth.

The room was already decorated for Christmas by the church so the extra tree and garland made the room look extra festive.

For the cookie decorating, we had plenty of sugar cookies, frosting, and sprinkles for the ladies to use.

Someone came up with the grand idea of decorating the tree before it went into the jar.  They came out so cute!

Such a lovely group of women!  I feel so privileged to get to know so many amazing women and help build community among them.
