A Life of Integrity

"'It has always seemed to me,' the old man said, 'that the best kind of evangelism is to simply live a life of integrity.  From what I've seen over the years, that is also the most effective type of parenting.'"

One of the things I admire most about my husband is his integrity.  He is far from perfect but he is a good and honest man.  He is sure of his convictions but they have come with a lot of thought.  It is in his integrity, more than his words, that I believe speak the loudest to others.

As I take care of my nephews I consider what I teach and expose them to.  I try to explain in my words and actions why we do things.  Not just because things are the right choice or that is how good little boys should act, but rather a desire to help shape them into future kind and responsible adults.

Some of the people I admire the most are respectable people.  I hope that I, too, can be a person of integrity that shapes those around me through an honest and undivided heart.
