Pumpkins and Greens: A Fall Backyard Dinner Party

For my dad's birthday last month we had a fun little backyard party in his honor.  As we approached the beginning of fall I went with a green and pumpkin theme.  I try to keep it somewhat masculine while still acknowledging the season.  Being the considerate dad that he is, he is always impressed with the decor I come up with!

I found these pre-folded napkins at Marshall's and used them as the basis of the rest of the tablescape.  Sticking with neutrals, the pop of green looked festive but still natural.

I used Martinelli bottles (that hold up my boots!) and filled them with leaves from our olive tree.  People hate olive trees because they are so messy but they offer the loveliest leaves in my opinion!

For dinner we had blue cheese burgers, oven fries, fancy mac and cheese, and a caesar salad.

It was a fun night with family and friends honoring the best dad I know!
