Moms Group Christmas Party

Last month, to end our fall session of mom's group, we celebrated with a little Christmas party.  It was a fun morning with these lovely women making gingerbread houses and ornaments together.  We are already half way through our second year together and I am so grateful for such an incredible and supportive group of women.  I am taking notes at the wonderful mothers that they all are.

For the gingerbread we set up an overabundance of candy, frosting, and graham crackers.  Enough for whoever wanted to make some and plenty to take home for the kids!

I set up a photo booth to take a few group photos.  We do this at the end of each session which is great to have photos for promotion and for our Facebook page.  It is a great visual to see all the ladies together.  We have also used the photos in thank you cards for groups who have donated financially to our ministry.

I cannot tell you how many times I heard someone mention how nice it was to make their own gingerbread house and not have to deal with little hands wanting to help!  I say moms deserve to have just as much fun as kids do!

And for those who didn't care to build but still wanted some sweets to take home, this candy platter was a fun idea!

We also had an ornament craft that was super cute and simple using popsicle sticks.

The manger one was especially sweet.  Here is one unfinished.

And a finished one that I snagged this photo from one of the ladies on Facebook.
