Argh and shiver me timbers! My Halloween crew is all ready for Halloween! We are expecting torrential downpour but it won't stop these pirate mateys from their trick rrr treating! ;)
It was so much fun for us to put together these Halloween costumes together. For the girls, they wore their flower girl dresses from a wedding this summer. They also wore the pirate hats we used for one of our pirate birthday parties. The boys wore simple t-shirts and shorts with some new bigger pirate hats. The eye patches came with the hats the girls are wearing. Then my mom hunted down the red bandanas for them from Hobby Lobby.
It was a fun mix of what we had and adding a few more items that will be lovingly enjoyed in our dress up stash for years to come. Happy Halloween!

So cute!!! I love how these costumes came together. I was a pirate in 8th grade, but my costume didn't look nearly as good as your kids'! I hope you had a great Halloween and they enjoyed trick-or-treating!
