Another Year Wiser...

today I am a year older...

and hopefully a year wiser...

to know to be grateful for the wonderful husband I have been given...

and to know that laundry doesn't fold itself...

I have learned that when I am true to myself I am happiest...

and there are people out there who are going to love and support me for who I am...

I know that I need to embrace my childlike, feminine, and slightly quirky ways...

those are the things that bring the most joy and laughter into life...

and at the end of the day...

when dinner is burnt...

and people are rude...

that there are so many bigger and smaller things to give my time and energy to...

that I am reminded of the love, laughter, and joy in my life...

from my dear husband...

my constant and faithful parents...

my girlfriends who get me...

and blog readers who support me...

to another year of imperfections but with a better grasp on the woman I was created to be...

thank you for being a part of this journey...
