Colorful and Whimsical Fall Inspired Tablescape

Today I am joining Layla and Kevin over at The Lettered Cottage to show off our fall table.  I gathered up all my little fall pumpkins as well as some succulents and candlesticks I had around the house for a pretty and festive table.  I loved how it came out so much that it inspired a full on outdoor fall table for my dad's birthday this weekend.  I will be sharing about that later this week!

The theme this year for my fall decor is about rich fall colors like burnt orange, teal, and green mixed with natural neutrals.  So far I have not bought any new fall decor and am trying to be creative in using what I already have.  Though when the pumpkin patches start popping up in October I will be on the look out to add some dried gourds.

I found a few sticks in the backyard to add height and color in a turquoise vase.

I had a large succulent bowl I put together this summer that I divided up into smaller pots and tea cups.  Now instead of one big beautiful bowl I have lots of baby ones!  This made for an easy way to move them around and add them to my place settings.  Succulents would also make a great gift for each guest to take home.  A little banner with each guest's name placed in the pot would be adorable!

Plush and velvet pumpkins found at various craft fairs take center stage placed on candlesticks.

Craft store wood beads add more whimsy hanging from the chandelier.

All I need now is a big ol' bowl of hot chili and cornbread and I am set!  Too bad it is still 90 degrees around here these days!  If the weather is not cooperating in bringing fall here, at least my table is!
